Justin Bieber's comeback single, "What Do You Mean?," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and made him the youngest male artist to ever have a track debut at the top spot on the chart, reported Entertainment Weekly. The song was also Bieber's first No. 1 song ever — the closest he ever came was when "Boyfriend" hit No. 2 back in 2012.

The song was just the 23rd to ever begin at No. 1 in the Hot 100's 57-year history, reported Billboard. "What Do You Mean?" dethroned The Weeknd's smash summer hit "I Can't Feel My Face" after two nonconsecutive weeks atop the chart. Although The Weeknd was removed from the top spot, the singer still occupied both the second and third positions on the chart with help from his other hit song "The Hills."

Bieber was clearly excited about the fantastic news and posted about his career achievement on Instagram. "Looks like we did it!" he said via video. "Finally. I want to say we did it again, but it's my first No. 1, so thank you guys. You guys are the best."

Earning the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 is just another milestone for the singer and his song. Last week, "What Do You Mean?" broke Spotify's record for the most streams in a single week. It had the biggest week ever for a single globally and in the United States, and was streamed more than 21 million times in five days, reported Yahoo News.

"What Do You Mean?" is the first single from Bieber's next album, which is expected to be released Nov. 13.
