Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt have ended their relationship after being together for 18 years. The two had been plagued with split rumors for months and were last seen together on July 22 in New York City at the premiere after-party for the Netflix show "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp," according to People.

"With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history," the couple said in a joint statement, according to Us Weekly. "We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward."

"I don't have the marriage chip, and neither of us have the greatest examples of marriage in our families. But Jen is the love of my life, and we've already been together four times longer than my parents were married," Hamm said in 2010.

Earlier this year, the "Mad Men" star went to rehab for alcohol abuse and credited Westfeldt for supporting him throughout his treatment. The two lived together for many years but never married or had any children.

The longtime partners met in 1997 at a party hosted by mutual friends. In 2011 they starred together in the movie "Friends with Kids," alongside Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott and Megan Fox, reported Hollywood Life.
