Will Bielebers see Justin Bieber star in the "Man of Steel" sequel as Robin? Bieber shared a photo on Instagram of what is believed to be the "Batman vs. Superman" script, Hollywood Life reports. The official looking document had his name scrawled across it so fans would know it was meant exclusively for Bieber.

The "Boyfriend" singer captioned the photo "Robin???" which instantly left many Beieber and "Man of Steel" fans wondering if he had been cast to play the Dark Knight's sidekick. Reactions to the photo were mixed with Bieber's fans clearly excited while others hoped it was only a joke.

"I really hope Justin Bieber being cast as Robin in the Batman vs. Superman movie is a joke. I really hope it's just a joke," one user posted while another write "OMFGGG I'M SO EXCITED."

Well, despite how people feel about the decision, Beieber's movie script was a fake. According to Variety, the singer filmed a video with Funny or Die the same exact day he posted the script and it was more than likely just a prop.

"Justin Bieber will NOT be in the next Batman film, either as Robin or craft services," a source told Hollywood Life.

Fans of the movie were upset over the recent casting decision of Batman. It was announced on Aug. 22 that Ben Affleck would play the Caped Crusader. According to Variety, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsuijhara announced that the new Batman is going to be "tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for a while."

Tsuijhara also opened up about all the backlash the sequel was receiving over the casting decision.

"We think it's going to be huge," he said. "We think it's the perfect springboard for Batman and Superman. Ben is perfect for the vision Zack has for that character. The fact that you saw such a passionate response in the bogosphere is really kind of a testament to the love that people have for this character."
