Former New England Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow was spotted training at the University of Southern California campus and posing with the women's lacrosse team, USA Today Sports reports.

The free agent has been working out at USC, seemingly keeping in shape should an NFL team contact him.  He's garnered attention from the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League, although he appears focused on finding a job in the NFL.

Tebow also found time to pose for a picture with the USC women's lacrosse team.

The Patriots surprised many by signing Tebow in June.  After the initial shock, the move made sense - it reunited Tebow with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who drafted him in 2010, and it gave coach Bill Belichick a pet project.

It wasn't to last.

Tebow looked like Tebow in the three preseason games he played, completing just 11-of-30 passes for two touchdowns and two interceptions.  New England cut Tebow on Aug. 31.  As usual, Tebow showed class and thanked the Patriots organization - he also reaffirmed his intention to play in the NFL as a quarterback.

"I would like to thank Mr. Kraft, Coach Belichick, Coach McDaniels and the entire Patriots organization for giving me the opportunity to be a part of such a class organization," Tebow tweeted after being released.  "I pray for nothing but the best for you all.  I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback."

Belichick didn't rule out re-signing Tebow later in the season should an injury befall Tom Brady or backup quarterback Ryan Mallett.

"I don't know what's going to happen here in the year, but certainly we've had a lot of players who've left here and come back here," Belichick told reporters after cutting Tebow, via USA Today Sports.  "It's already happened this year."

Although unemployed, Tebow seems reluctant to play in either the Canadian Football League or the Arena Football League.  LA KISS, an arena team owned by eponymous band, offered Tebow a job with a contract worth "millions."

Tebow hasn't officially responded to the offer, but he appears unlikely to abandon his hopes of playing in the NFL and switching to the arena league.
