On Tuesday, former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle announced that he will be pleading guilty to possession of child pornography charges. Amid all the news, Fogle's wife Katie has revealed that she is in the process of leaving him, according to E! News. With kids at home, Katie is only doing what is best for her family.

"Obviously, I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the recent developments involving Jared," she said in a statement. "I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage. My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children. Neither I nor my family will have any further comment on the matter. I appreciate respect for my family's privacy during this time."

Up until Wednesday, Fogle had only been charged with possession of child porn, but court documents have revealed that the situation is much more serious than that, according to TMZ. Between 2010 and 2013, he apparently had been engaging in, and paying for, sexual acts with minors while traveling between Indiana and New York City. The complaint says that there were 14 victims who were all minors and in a text message with one of the victims, Jared accepted a 16-year-old girl saying, "the younger the girl, the better." He even asked many of the victims for pictures of themselves.

It all started when hidden cameras were found in Russell Taylor's home. Taylor was the executive director of Fogle's Jared Foundation. The explicit photos and videos from those cameras featured children as young as six years old, and Taylor had sent some to Fogle.

Fogle has agreed to serve at least five years in prison and must pay $100,000 per victim, costing him $1.4 million total.

Subway made sure to let their customers and followers know that they were not taking this news lightly.

"We no longer have a relationship with Jared," they tweeted. "And we have no further comment."
