Judging by his Twitter feed, Donald Trump had a hard time sleeping after the first Republican presidential debate on Thursday night. He used his favorite social media site to call out Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who was one of three moderators during the debate, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"Wow @megynkelly really bombed tonight," Trump tweeted at 3:40 a.m. to his more than 3.5 million followers. "People are going wild on twitter! Funny to watch."

He continued to quote tweets from his supports who cried out that "The Kelly File" host was biased with her line of questioning for Trump.

Kelly almost immediately directed her attention to Trump, Time magazine reported. She called him out for sexist comments he made in the past.

"Mr. Trump, one of the things people love about you is you speak your mind and you don't use a politician's filter," she said. "However, that is not without its downsides, in particular, when it comes to women. You've called women you don't like, 'fat pigs,' 'dogs,' 'slobs,' and 'disgusting animals.'"

Trump interrupted her to make a joke about comedian Rosie O'Donnell, but Kelly continued with her point. She referenced a sexual comment Trump made about a female contestant on his former show "Celebrity Apprentice."

After the debate, Trump questioned Kelly's competence in her role as a moderator on Twitter.

"I really enjoyed the debate tonight," he tweeted, "even though the @FoxNews trio, especially @megynkelly, was not very good or professional!"
