Emma Stone Shines on ‘Glamour UK’ Cover

Emma Stone looks spectacular on the cover of Glamour UK's February issue. The funny and cool actress opened up about her start in the movie industry.

Stone lights up the camera clad in a pretty floral print dress by Dolce and Gabbana and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. The award-winning actress, who has won the hearts of many with her funny and adorable acting skills opened up about her early life, initial experience with co-star Ryan Gosling in "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and their reunion in "Gangster Squad".

On her acting desire since a child:

"My parents knew that there was something a little off about me. So it made sense when I asked, aged 11, if I could take acting classes. Apparently I said to my mum, 'If I can't act, I'll die.' And then she knew - she knew that only an actress would say something like that.

On her mother's strict dressing rules as a teen:

"When I was a teenager and all the cool girls were wearing their pyjama pants in school, my mother would forbid me to do that- or to let my bra straps show."

On her initial experience working with Ryan Gosling:

"I can still remember the first time I auditioned with Ryan, for 'Crazy, Stupid, Love'. My friends took me to the airport that night and when they asked me what I'd been doing all day, and I said that I'd been writhing around all over Ryan Gosling's bed, they were like: 'Right - get on that plane!' I guess that is pretty weird to hear."

On her paparazzi paranoia:

"It's weird in Los Angeles...[they] hiding out everywhere. The hardest thing is that it makes me act like an a**hole because I now have this weird level of paranoia that I never had before. It feels like having a private investigator on you or something. You find yourself walking around holding your head up like you're looking in the mirror - and your friends are wondering what's wrong with you. Then I feel like a jerk because half the time there's nobody there ... still, I really don't want to be caught with a burger all over my face."

On her solitary goal of being an actor with no back-up plan:

"When I moved to Hollywood I was arrogantly confident that I could be an actor. I didn't really consider any other option, but you know what I would have loved to do? What you do. Because that's pretty much what an actor does. And imagine getting to interview people like me. It can't get much better than that."
