Everyone prepare! Miley Cyrus will host the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. The 22-year-old announced the exciting news on her Instagram account Monday with the comment: "F*** yeah VMAs!!!!!" Cyrus will be the first host of the VMAs since Kevin Hart helmed the show in 2012.

In the Instagram picture, the "Wrecking Ball" singer is wearing a green bodysuit with a green sandwich board over it that says: "MTV won't let me preform," on the front, and "So I'm hosting this year's VMAs," on the back. The board is in reference to Cyrus' 2013 VMA performance with Robin Thicke in which she famously twerked while the two sang Thicke's "Blurred Lines."

Last year, Cyrus made headlines once again at the VMAs when she let homeless youth Jesse Helt accept her award for Video of the Year. In his speech, Helt explained the increasing problem of homeless children in Los Angeles. "My name is Jesse and I am accepting this award on behalf of the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving, lost and scared for their lives right now. I know this because I am one of these people," he said.

One can only imagine what Cyrus has in store for viewers this year!

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards airs Aug. 30 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
