Kate Gosselin and former husband Jon are currently wrapped in four year-long a divorce battle that just got even more heated.
On Monday, Kate filed papers stating that her ex-partner allegedly went on her computer and into her phone to grab details for the 2012 book, "Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World."
Jon's comrade and former business partner, tabloid writer Robert Hoffman, penned the book that was reportedly removed from stands just two days after it was put on the market. Kate's lawyers maintained that some of the information in the narrative had been picked up through illegal channels.
According to Star Magazine, Jon has been accused of identity theft, wiretapping and invasion of privacy. Kate's currently seeking unspecified damages, in addition to court fee compensation and physical damages.
No word from Jon and his people, nor the author of the book, just yet.
In "Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World," Hoffman posits that the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" wife used physical punishment with her dogs and kids, including pulling their hair, disciplining them with wooden spoons, and spanking them, USA Today reported.
The TLC show that propelled them into the spotlight provided a window into their lives, along with their eight children.
In 2009, the couple separated, then divorced.
