NBC made the decision to "end its business relationship" with Donald Trump today after his "recent derogatory statements" towards immigrants. Trump, on the other hand, has now said that this was all his decision.

While speaking at an event in Chicago earlier today, Trump revealed he is OK with everything that's happening with the network, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"They did not want me to run. They wanted me to do 'The Apprentice.' And now with my statements on immigration, which happen to be correct, they are going to take a different stance and that's OK," he said. "Whatever they want to do is OK with me. As far as ending the relationship, I have to do that because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC."

With this decision comes an end to the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants airing on NBC, which were "joint ventures between NBC and Trump." He also revealed he will no longer be participating as the host of the network show "The Celebrity Apprentice."

NBC also confirmed that even though Trump will no longer be associated with "Celebrity Apprentice," the "relationship will continue" between NBC and Mark Burnett, who is the show's producer, according to Entertainment Weekly. They plan to continue to move forward with season 15.

His sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, and daughter Ivanka, who were regulars on the hit series, will most likely not be returning either. They do not plan to keep his children around, a network insider told TheWrap. "I don't believe we will continue with any of the Trumps," said the source.

The Trump children have yet to make any comments regarding the news.
