Justin Timberlake To Reunite With 'NSync During MTV's Video Music Awards?

Justin Timberlake is rumored to be reuniting with his 'NSync band-mates during this Sunday's MTV Video Music awards.

Sources told the New York Post, Timberlake is set to receive a special award during the show, which will then reportedly follow a performance by the former boy bad:

Justin Timberlake and his former *NSYNC band members are set to reunite for a special performance on the VMAs Sunday night at the Barclays Center, sources tell Page Six. MTV announced that Timberlake, who topped the charts in the late '90s with the band, will perform at the VMAs and receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. But we're told former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are scheduled to join him onstage for a reunion performance. On Friday night, the *NSYNC crew were all spotted in the singer's VIP section at his concert with Jay Z at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, joining Jessica Biel and Timberlake's mother, Lynn Harless.

The Rolling Stone is claiming 'NSync could make a comeback after all the success the "Suite & Tie" singer has had this year:

"Timberlake is tied with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis this year for the most award nominations, and he has won a number of Moonman statues in the past as a solo artist and as a member of 'NSync. A rep for the singer wasn't available for comment on a potential 'NSync reunion."

According to the magazine, 'NSync announced their break up after their 2002 Celebrity tour. The last time the boy band performed together was at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

The MTV Video Music Awards will take place live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Sunday.

Miley Cyrus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Robin Thicke are just a few artist who are also scheduled to perform.
