Things aren't looking good for recently announced 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump. Co-hosts Roselyn Sanchez and Cristián de la Fuente announced Thursday that they are pulling out of Trump's Miss USA pageant after his anti-immigration rant, as previously reported by HNGN. Shortly after, Univision announced the cancellation of its Spanish-language telecast of the beauty pageant.

During his 2016 presidential campaign announcement, Trump said Mexican immigrants are "bringing drugs" into the U.S., reported People. "They're bringing crime," he added. "They're rapists."

Univision, America's largest Spanish-language television broadcaster, released a statement Thursday that said it is "ending the company's business relationship with the Miss Universe Organization, which is part-owned by Donald J. Trump, based on his recent, insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants."

NBC, the station set to broadcast the English-language broadcast live from Baton Rouge, La., released a statement distancing itself from Trump's controversial stance. "Donald Trump's opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration," said the network, according to Us Weekly.

Along with Univision and NBC, Miss USA's Spanish-language co-hosts Sanchez and de la Fuente also released statements on why they're disassociating themselves with Trump.

Sanchez delivered her statement in Spanish, which she posted to her Instagram. "As a Latina and proud of my roots, culture and everything we have contributed to this nation, I have decided to cancel my participation as co-host of Miss USA," she said.

"Mr. Trump, As a #Latino I cannot work in an event associated with your name," de la Fuente said in a video posted to his Facebook page.

Meanwhile, singer J Balvin released a statement to Billboard explaining why he decided to cancel his performance on the telecast. "It was going to be my first performance on national [mainstream] television," he told Billboard. "But we're talking about our roots, our culture, our values. This isn't about being punitive, but about showing leadership through social responsibility."
