Julia Stiles is returning to the "Bourne" franchise after sitting out "The Bourne Legacy."

Stiles will reprise her role of former CIA agent Nicky Parsons, according to Deadline. She joins returning star Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass, who directed the second and third "Bourne" movies.

Greengrass is writing the script with Christopher Rouse, but plot details are still unknown, according to Variety. The first three films were based off the novels by Robert Ludlum.

The 34-year-old actress recently guest-starred on "The Mindy Project" and starred in the web series, "Blue." She will next star opposite Al Pacino in "Beyond Deceit" and in "Go With Me," starring Anthony Hopkins.

"Ex Machina" star Alicia Vikander is also in talks to join the cast, and Viggo Mortenson is considering the role of the assassin who's tracking Jason Bourne (Damon).

The first three "Bourne" films starring Damon grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide at the box office. The fourth installment starred Jeremy Renner as a Black ops agent.

The next "Bourne" film is set to premiere on July 29, 2016.
