A billionaire couple has purchased a super yacht for £15 million ($23.5 million) that can be controlled from a distance of 50 meters with an iPad.

Hong Kong-based shipping magnate Anto Marden, 64, and his wife, Elaine, purchased the yacht. The couple plans to use it to go between the two tropical islands they already own off the coast of Indonesia.

According to Boat International, the yacht is "one of the world's most amazing super yachts," boasting a 42.5 meter-long frame, a dining area with panoramic views, a fully functionoing kitchen and bathroom and is 16 meters wide. The yacht is called Adastra, designed by UK-based yacht designer John Shuttleworth, is touted as the perfect combination of technology and luxury.

The boat's modern, almost futuristic design is not a gimmick for looks. DailyMail reports the shape has been specially designed to cut through waves yet still glide comfortably across the high seas. Due to it's design intricacies and luxurious amenities, Adastra took 5 years to build.

As if it's dynamic design wasn't enough, Adastra comes with a very large fuel tank allowing her to travel up to 4,000 miles before needing to refuel. To give a reference point, that is about the same distance between New York and London.

Adastra is powered by a Caterpilla C18 engine of 1150hp at 2300 rpm and has a saloon area on the main deck with a lounge, dining table and navigation station. The rear of the yacht also has a dining table as well as a sofa and bar area.

The main helm, which seats two, is in a raised pilot house between the rear deck and the saloon.
