It's been two years since Beyoncé gave birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and the famous mama recently shared photos from her daughter's princess-themed birthday bash on her official Tumblr, which included a very special guest.

Dora the Explorer was a guest at the party, walking hand-in-hand with Blue for her special day. The two-year-old received a custom-made tiered cake topped with a tiara, a Minnie Mouse toy car to ride in, balloon animals and a hand-written note from her friend, everyone at the party dressed in fairy-themed face paint.

Jay Z and Beyoncé kept their daughter's face hidden from view in the photos as they tend to do, presumably in an effort not to overexpose their already-famous toddler.

While it's unclear where the party was thrown, the photos reveal a rather low-key and kid-friendly setting that seems to be a petting zoo, judging by the animal paintings on the windows and little kangaroos Blue got to meet while walking with Dora the EXplorer and her mom.

However, sources recently told The Sun that the superstar parents spent a whopping $200,000 on celebrations, including $80,000 diamond-encrusted Barbie doll as a gift, while Beyoncé allegedly spent $95,000 on pink and white roses, $2,400 for the cake and $30,000 for party favors and toys for guests.

"Nothing's been too big or expensive for their little princess," a source told The Sun. "They wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life. They work hard for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl."

Photos of the event, however, do not seem to reveal the level of extravagance suggested.
