Kate Upton is off the market. Her relationship to "Dancing with the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy was recently confirmed after months of speculation. Now according to the New York Daily News, Upton is said to be apartment hunting in the Flatiron District of New York City so she can be closer to Chmerkovskiy.
Sources told the newspaper that the Sports Illustrated model wants to spend more time with her man, who has a place near Fort Lee, N.J. Upton currently lives in Florida near her family but has been staying at a hotel in Manhattan while she looks for a new place.
"They're getting closer, but there's been no talk of marriage," a source said adding that they have no plans of moving in together.
According to E! News, Upton and Chmerkovskiy have been dating since June. The couple was spotted several times together over the summer but both denied they were in a relationship. When the model was asked about her romance to Chmerkovskiy at the 10th Annual Style Awards where she named Model of the Year, Upton said the two were just friends.
Chmerkovskiy also denied he had a girlfriend telling reporters back in July that him and Upton go way back. Obviously, they both were trying to keep their relationship on the low despite being photographed together.
According to reports, Chmerkovskiy and Upton were spotted together in the Hamptons where the supermodel was filming "The Other Woman" with Cameron Diaz. In August, the dancer took Upton to meet his family in Long Island. Sources told the New York Daily News that they were holding hands at the Harbor Club at Prime for Chmerkovskiy's godmother's 35th wedding anniversary. Afterwards they had a date night back in New York City.
Upton and Chmerkovskiy reportedly met through mutual friends and went on their first date in June when the ballroom dancer took her on a romantic dinner to celebrate her 21st birthday.
