Margaret Cho has been tapped by E! as a special “Fashion Police” co-host for the 2016 season, according to Variety. Her first appearance will be Jan. 11, the night after the Golden Globes.

Cho will be joining co-hosts Melissa Rivers (who is also the show’s executive producer), Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski as they report on the biggest fashion moments — the highs and the lows — from select Hollywood events. Additionally, there will be a guest chair in which a different celebrity will sit and offer their opinions.

“I love joining the crew of ‘Fashion Police.’ To me it feels like family,” said Cho, who previously appeared on the show as a guest. “Although I am not quite a fashionista, I would love to look at it like I am changing it up — ‘Fashion Police: Special Victims Unit.’ It makes me happiest to spend time with Melissa, and when I see her laugh at my joke, I feel like Joan [Rivers] is smiling somewhere.”

The “Fashion Police” brand has been tarnished since the death of longtime co-host Joan Rivers in September 2014. Kelly Osbourne exited the show in February after not agreeing with racist comments Rancic made about actress Zendaya, and Kathy Griffin lasted just seven episodes earlier this year.

The Golden Globes episode of “Fashion Police” will air Monday, Jan. 11. It will be followed by coverage of the Screen Actors Guild Awards Feb. 1, the Grammy Awards Feb. 16 and the Oscars Feb. 29. All shows will premiere at 8 p.m. ET on E!
