Singer Nick Jonas recently confessed to having an obsession with UFOs during a daytime TV talk show appearance in the UK, and even revealed his own experiences with flying saucers in the past.

"This was probably eight years ago, I was in my backyard in LA. I looked up in the sky and there was three flying saucers," the 23-year-old told ITV's "This Morning" co-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, according to Express.

The singer admitted that the experience made him question himself. "I looked at my friend and said, 'Are you seeing this or am I losing my mind?'"

"He was seeing the same thing. Then I went online and looked and there were three identical sightings, two weeks before," he added, according to the Mirror.

The recent reports of flashing blue lights that were seen in the skies of California on Saturday gave him renewed interest of the supernatural. However, the U.S. Navy claimed responsibility for the flashing blue lights, as they claimed the ballistic submarine USS Kennedy were experimenting with a Trident missile, according to People.

"I'm really excited to get back to LA; I leave in a couple of hours, and I'm going to go try find a UFO," the singer joked. "I'm very excited."

Jonas is set to tour alongside fellow Disney star and close friend Demi Lovato. He also opened up about the Jonas Brothers' split in 2013, as well as his breakup with Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, during the interview.
