Nick Jonas is very upset with the CrossFit. Jonas, who was diagnosed with type one diabetes at age 14, called out the the fitness company for posting what he called "ignorant comments" about the disease on Twitter, according to International Business Times.

The feud started when CrossFit tweeted a fake Coca-Cola ad that read: "Open Diabetes," along with the caption "Make sure you pour some out for your dead homies."

Jonas felt that the remarks were insensitive, and let CrossFit know.

"This is not cool. Please know and understand the difference between type one and type (two) diabetes before making ignorant comments," Jonas tweeted at CrossFit. "Ignorant comments. Sensitivity to all diseases, and proper education on the cause and day to day battle is important," he added.

CrossFit fired back at the "Jealous" singer and tweeted him, "Anyone can get T2 diabetes, even those with T1. Stop assuming we don't grasp the difference and help us raise awareness."

The CEO of the company, Greg Glassman issued a statement to ABC News in response to Jonas' tweet.

"This is about the scourge of Type 2 diabetes and it's underlying causes. His sponsor, Coca-Cola, is a significant contributor to the diabetes epidemic both with product and 'marketing' spend," the statement read in part.

According to ABC news, the rest of the statement was so aggressive it was not suitable to print.

Jonas has been an advocate for awareness about type one diabetes since his diagnosis. He is currently a spokesperson for Dexcom, the glucose monitoring system he uses.
