Simon Cowell isn't the only one shocked over the baby news. According to the Daily Mail, the "X Factor" judge's former flames are not happy about the news that he is expecting his first child with New York socialite Lauren Silverman.

Many of his ex-girlfriends have spoken out since the announcement. Some have congratulated the father-to-be while others are upset. One ex reportedly not handling the news well is 80s pop star Sinitta. The Daily Mail reports that the pop singer dated Cowell off and on over a 20 year period and has always remained close to the TV personality.

According to several reports, Sinitta allegedly burst into tears when she found her ex-boyfriend was expecting a baby and called him to tell him: "It should have been me."

A source close to the former "American Idol" judge told the Daily Mail that another ex Terri Seymour was "shocked" over the news but had "given the baby her blessing." Mezghan Hussainy, Cowell's makeup artist and former fiancée, was also reportedly "stunned" over the news.

"Simon is in no doubt the child is his. The other girls can't believe that she is the one who has [got his baby]. They've all met her, they know who she is and they have been reduced to tears by this," a source told the British newspaper. "She has apparently been going around telling people for the last three to six months that she is going to have his baby. Simon has been very stressed in the last few months with his various shows and juggling everything that he has in his life."

The source also added that despite how shocked Cowell is by the news he will definitely take care of the child.

Carmen Electra, who was linked to the former Cowell last year said she was "so happy" to reporters at the VH1 Do Something Awards in Hollywood.

"What I witnessed working with him on 'Britain's Got Talent' and coming to see him during 'X Factor' is that the people he truly believes in, he stands up for them and supports them," Electra told E! News. "So I obviously think that his child will be very well taken care and very, very loved."

"I'm going to call him as I get in the car after the event," she added. "I want to know if it's a boy or a girl. It's awesome, I'm super happy for him."

The Daily Mail reported they spoke to Silverman's sister-in-law, also named Lauren, who said she had no idea her brother's wife was expecting Cowell's baby.
