Singapore Airlines has signed a codeshare agreement with Virgin Airlines to offer its customers the option to fly to more cities in the United States.
Singapore Airlines customers can now use this airline to travel to more cities in the United States as a codeshare agreement with Virgin America. The agreement will be put in place December 19.
According to agreement details as reported by Breaking Travel News, "SIA will add its 'SQ' code to Virgin America-operated flights serving Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Philadelphia, Portland, San Diego, Seattle and Washington DC, from the SIA West Coast gateway points of Los Angeles and San Francisco."
"We are pleased to announce this partnership with Virgin America which extends our network even further within the United States.
"The United States is an important market for Singapore Airlines and through this partnership we can offer our customers more travel options to more destinations," said Singapore Airlines acting senior vice president sales and marketing, Chin Yau Seng.
Tickets for the codeshare flights are currently open for sale.
