A 90-year-old tortoise was given life-saving wheels after a rat tragically bit off her two front legs.

Mrs. T the tortoise's legs were bit down to the elbow, so there weren't a lot for veterinarians to work with to save the poor animal's legs.

Instead, Mrs. T's human, Jude Ryder, asked her son (who has a major in mechanical engineering) for help. He ended up attaching two wheels from an aircraft model set to the sides of her shell with a little super glue.

The design was a success and Mrs. T is on the move again!
