Overwhelmed by the love of her fans and the impending end of her "Diamonds" World Tour, Rihanna broke down on stage during a recent performance at the Grande Stade Arena in France.
A new video shows the typically sassy starlet crying as her French fans shower her with applause following a performance of her ballad, "Stay."
"Thank you so much," she says in the clip. "I can't believe this s**t. You all make me so happy. This is everything that matters to me. And to stand here and feel the love in this room. The Diamonds tour is nearly coming to an end and I hate this part. I hate saying goodbye. You guys showed me so much love in this room tonight. I love you guys.
"I don't know why the f**k I'm crying," she continued. "That's crazy. Thank you so much. I love you guys. It's the Diamonds World tour, so you know we can't leave yet." She then serenaded the adoring crowd with her dance hit, "Diamonds."
Rihanna has admitted in the past that she is overwhelmed by the support of her fans, known as the Rihanna "Navy," and that she tries hard to be relatable.
"I want them to feel comfortable knowing that I have flaws as well," she told Oprah in an interview last year. "I want them to know those flaws because I am afraid of the pedestal that comes with fame and being a celebrity so I keep myself as close to the ground as possible."
While Rihanna may adore her loyal fans, the starlet doesn't always get along with them.
The singer recently made headlines for calling out a fan for throwing food on stage during a gig in England.
"All right, there's good crazy and there's bad crazy," she told them. "When you throw s**t up here, that's an epic fail."
Before that, she got even with another misbehaving fan. When they tugged on her on-stage costume, she smacked them with her microphone.
