Kim Kardashian, who has been unusually tight-lipped since the birth of daughter North West on June 15, has broken her silence and is finally talking about being a mom.
"These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life," she wrote on her blog. "I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family. I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment."
The message comes one day after the reality star was spotted out for the first time since giving birth.
According to Radar Online, Kardashian was spotted out with baby Nori this week in Southern California.
"Kim looks amazing, she really does," a witness told Radar. "She's dropped a lot of the baby weight already... not to say she still doesn't have a ways to go, but she looked slim and was glowing."
The on-looker said Kardashian kept her baby's car seat covered with a blanket and appeared to be a doting mom. Long-time friend Robin Antin echoed the sentiment, noting how excited Kardashian has been.
"Kim keeps telling me how fun it is to be a mom," she told Us Weekly. "She and Kanye are so happy."
A source also told the mag that the rapper is adjusting well to life as a dad.
"Kanye has stepped up more than anyone expected," the source said. "He loves being a daddy and he's so supportive of Kim."
As for when the rest of the world will get a glimpse of North West, sources say it could be soon.
"Kim is excited to have the whole world see her baby," a source told Radar Online. "She is saying that she knows that everyone will love her as much as she does and she wants people to see how beautiful she is."
