Hollywood is no stranger to bizarre baby names and it looks like it's time to add another to the list.
Actress Busy Philipps and husband Marc Silverstein have dubbed their newborn daughter Cricket Pearl, according to E! News. Cricket joins the ranks of other outlandish celebrity tot monikers like Moroccan, Apple, Blue and Bear.
Philipps, who tweeted an adorable pic of her cradling the tiny bundle of joy, also used the social media site to fight back—in good humor—against followers that were critical of the headline-making name.
"It's weird people think my kids will be in therapy because of their names," Philipps tweeted, also referring to her 4-year-old daughter Birdie. "Guys, my kids will be therapy for LOTS of reasons, I'm sure."
And Philipps isn't the only celeb under fire for bestowing an abnormal name upon her newborn. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently received tons of heat for naming their daughter North West.
While the couple has yet to respond to the criticism, grandma Kris Jenner has that taken care of.
"North is the highest power and their baby North, their little girl, is the highest point and power between the two of them," she said. "I thought it was really cool."
Another name is also making headlines even though the baby has yet to be born. With Kate Middleton expected to give birth at anytime, gamblers are betting big hoping to guess the name of the tiny royal.
According to The Washington Post, Alexandra, the queen's middle name, and Charlotte, Pippa Middleton's middle name, are the most popular predictions for girls' names, while James and George are the best guesses for a boy. Other betting favorites include Victoria, Elizabeth and Diana, a tribute to Prince William's late mother.
