Despite contrary reports, Jamie Dornan will be appearing in the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The only issue remaining is that a second movie in the series has not yet been greenlit.

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film," Dornan's publicist Hayley Stubbs told the NY Daily News.

Earlier in the week, NW Magazine reported that Dornan's wife, Amelia Warner, did not feel comfortable with the over the top sex scenes in the first film and was persuading her husband to leave the franchise.

Another representative of Dornan told EOnline.com that reports of the actor leaving the series "are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet."

Someone close to the situation told the NY Daily News that the report in NW Magazine, which was sourced anonymously, is false.

Although "Fifty Shades of Grey" has owned the box office since its release, earning more than $400 million worldwide, there seems to be tension between two important people involved with the project.

EL James, author of the book series, did not get along with "Fifty Shades of Grey" film director Sam Taylor-Johnson, according to the NY Daily News-- so much so that Taylor-Johnson will not be calling the shots for either of the sequels.
