Taylor Swift Talks Boyfriends and Fashion With Harper’s Bazaar

Taylor Swift talks to Harper's Bazaar about love, boyfriends, fashion as she graces the cover of the December/January issue.

Talking about what kind of a relationship she is looking for in her love life, Swift reveals she needs it to be equal. "It needs to be equal," she says. "If I feel too much like I'm wearing the pants, I start to feel uncomfortable, and then we break up."

She calls relationships "the ultimate collaboration," but adds, sometimes "it's wonderful to hand over the reins to your boyfriend when you control so much of these big, high-pressure decisions, you know? That is a huge defining factor in who you choose to be with."

"I can't deal with someone wanting to take a relationship backward or needing space or cheating on you," she said in an interview for the December issue of Cosmopolitan.

"It's a conscious thing: it's a common sense thing," she said. "Would I ever do this to them? If the answer is no, then they're not treating me fairly. I just don't ever want to end up in a relationship that isn't fair ever again."

"I've learned when to get out," Swift told the glamour glossy. "I've never wasted too much time with the wrong person and that's one thing I'm proud of."

Other than singing and her relationships, Swift is known for her addiction to dresses. Talking to the magazine about that, she said, "I'm in a predicament where I can't wear a dress twice or else it's pointed out in magazines," the singer explains. "So unfortunately I have to shop for dresses all the time."
