Actress Stacey Dash has come out in support of celebrity chef Paula Deen on Twitter. "God does everything for a reason @Paula_Deen Only God can judge your heart BTW my daughter loves your show (only way she can get me to cook)," tweeted the "Clueless" actress on June 25. Deen is in the middle of a lawsuit for racial and sexual discrimination by a former employee of one of her restaurants.

Dash's show of solidarity, however, seems to have turned the heat on her. "Man you really are Clueless huh," tweeted one person in response. "Wanna be cast as a slave at her next event? Since you're showing support and all," was another sarcastic reply.

This isn't the first time Dash has landed herself in hot soup on Twitter. In October last year, she sent out a tweet in support of Mick Romney, "Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future". After being criticized for the statement by many people in Twitterverse, including some racially charged barbs, she defended herself on Pier Morgan's show. "I chose him not by the color of his skin but the content of his character," she said.

In April this year, Dash was in the eye of a Twitter storm once again after she voiced her opinion on Jay-Z and Beyonce's holiday to Cuba. "Do you care that The Jay Z"s have taken the capital you have given them and funded a communist oppressive regime?" she tweeted.

Dash rose to stardom when she co-starred in "Clueless" in 1995 as Alicia Silverstone's best friend, and later took a role in the television series of the same name as well. In 2012, she appeared in the movie "Dysfunctional Friends". In February 2013, the 46-year-old starred in a comic clip on Youtube titled "Stacey Dash is Normal: The Dip", with plans to take the concept further.  According to TV Guide, she will be guest-starring on an episode of "The Exes" in July, where she will reunite with Donald Faison, who played her boyfriend in "Clueless". Dash will play a "recommitted virgin" who is dating Phil Chase, Faison's character.
