Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher announced Thursday that despite their split, the two will continue working together on their joint foundation which has now been renamed.
Moore and Kutcher tied the knot in September 2005 and began a charity they named the "Demi and Ashton Foundation" in 2010, a year later Moore announced her split with Kutcher.
However, one year following the split, the duo announced Thursday that they will continue to work together for the charity foundations. However, the charity will now been known as the THORN foundation.
"For the past three years we have focused our work broadly on combating child sex trafficking. It has become crystal clear in our efforts that technology plays an increasingly large role in this crime and in the sexual exploitation of children overall," said Moore and Kutcher. "We believe that the technology-driven aspect of these crimes demands its own attention and investment."
The 50-year-old Moore had a complete mental break down when she and 34-year-old Kutcher broke up after six years of marriage due to Kutcher's infidelity. Though the actress has not looked back since the separation, she still hasn't gotten over the fact that Kutcher cheated on her. She was even more humiliated when only months after the separation, Kutcher was photographed kissing and holding hands with "That 70's show" co-star Mila Kunis.
In the new issue of People magazine, Moore's inner circle reveal she's "jealous and frustrated," and "she's not in a good frame of mind."
"Breakups are hard in general, and it's hard to see that somebody that you loved and you shared a life with has moved on so easy, when you haven't," New York relationship expert Siggy Flicker said. "It's a little bit of a crush to the ego, but she [Moore] can survive this."
"The moment that he and Demi announced their split, he was sort of having this wild party-boy stage," People reporter Carlos Greer said. "But he kind of toned that down quickly and he and Mila seem to be very serious.
"Demi has dealt with the split differently from Ashton. He's been very public. She's kept a low key profile. She's been relying on her extremely close friends and her Kabbalah faith."
