Add the Baltimore Ravens to the list of spurned NFL teams very interested in the final outcome of the league's investigation into the New England Patriots' "Deflate-Gate" scandal.

Why, you ask?

Well, partly because they lost a playoff game to the Patriots just prior to the "Deflate-Gate" game and are, no doubt, bitter and a little jealous at the moment.

But they're also raptly awaiting the NFL's decision because some of the players on the Ravens team believe that the Pats and head coach Bill Belichick doctored balls used in their playoff game as well, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

"Some of the Baltimore Ravens believe kicking balls used in their playoff game at New England were slightly under-inflated, according to league sources," writes La Canfora.

"With the Patriots under investigation for possibly under-inflating balls in their playoff win against the Colts, sources said some on Baltimore's sideline believed there may have been irregularities with the kicking balls used in their AFC divisional playoff game at Foxborough, Mass., on Jan. 10."

The difference between the Colts' complaint and this latest one from the Ravens is that the Colts allege the Patriots deflated their own balls used on offense so that quarterback Tom Brady and his backs and receivers would have an easier time throwing and catching, while the Ravens seem to believe that the balls they - Baltimore - used for kicking and punting were underinflated, meaning they wouldn't travel as far when struck.

Baltimore's special team units believe their kicks and punts weren't achieving their normal "depth and distance," La Canfora wrote.

The Ravens, according to league rules, brought their own 12 balls with them to Massachusetts to be used throughout the game.

But of course, the Pats, as the home team in both the Ravens and the Colts' games, were responsible for providing the sideline attendants who continually give balls to the referees throughout normal game-play.

With the league already determining that the Patriots doctored 11 of the 12 balls used in the game against the Colts, the smoke surrounding New England seems to be obfuscating a fair-sized fire.
