Chris Brown Looking to Quit Music? 'Fine China' Singer Wants 'Normal' 9 to 5 Life

With his names in tabloids everywhere, Chris Brown may be looking into escaping all of the negative attention, even if it means taking a break or possibly quitting music?

According to Hollywood Life, following reports he'd assaulted a woman, the singer is looking to live a "normal" 9 to 5 life instead of a life of a musician.

"He can't go anywhere, can't do anything, can't eat, can't take a leak without somebody trying to accuse him of something," a source said. "Sometime he wishes he was just an average person working at the Post Office, because at least then, people wouldn't be trying to [mess] with him. ... At least he would have freedom. Life is already hard; sometime the fame makes [things] even harder."

Reports earlier this week indicated that Brown, 24, was involved in a assault of a young woman at a club in Orange County, California. The victim, Deanna said she was pushed to the ground so hard, she has torn ligaments in her knee.

"We don't believe this happened. The club says they are unaware of this happening," Brown's rep said. "The girl has not come in in-person to the station and she would not go into details with the police regarding her injuries - she only told them that she was pushed.

"She said all of this over the phone. She also didn't call the police at the time she's saying the alleged assault happened. It seems very suspicious," the rep said.

A photo was posted indicating that the victim was wearing a leg brace and standing on crutches.

Brown is set to drop his new album next month entitled "X" and released the first single off the album "Fine China."
