Miley Cyrus celebrated father's day with mother Tish and sister Noah in Chicago according to OMG! The blond bombshells posed for pictures that were later posted on Cyrus' Twitter account. Tish and Noah accompanied the singer to Chicago for her appearance at the b96 Pepsi Summer Bash.
While the girls were away, Cyrus did not forget to wish her father Billy Ray all the best on Father's Day. The "We Can't Stop" singer tweeted "Happy Daddy Day" to her father with a heart. According to USA Today, the short tweet shows that Cyrus' attitude towards her father may have softened. The 20-year-old seemed displeased with her father after news broke that her mother filed for divorce due to "irreconcilable differences."
"Since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?" she tweeted. The tweet was later deleted and Cyrus has not commented on her parents divorce since.
Tish and Billy Ray's marriage has walked the road towards divorce before. Billy Ray reportedly filed for divorce to end the 19-year marriage three-years ago, but the couple decided to work things out.
According to Radar Online, Tish has not gone into details about what led to her decision to divorce Billy Ray but has used Twitter to subliminally discuss her situation. She has retweeted religious tweets about life obstacles and rejection.
Billy Ray on the other hand has remained mum on the issue. The country singer is reportedly "on lock down" and has left him family home in Hollywood and relocated to his home in Tennessee. Billy Ray released a statement through his publicist according to CNN.
"This is a personal matter, and we are doing what is in the best interest of our family," the statement read. "We ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
