The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to have a June 20 launch. About a week before this suspected launch, we might have more information on the 13 MP camera that is supposed to be featured on Samsung’s “phablet,” according to GottaBeMobile.com.
According to the website, a photo allegedly taken with the Note 3 has been leaked. The leaked photo has a 2322 x 4128 resolution which is indicative of a 13 MP camera, the same camera available on the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Many sources agree the Note 3 will carry the same camera as the Galaxy S4—one going as far as to say they know all of the phablet’s specs.
According to rumors, the Galaxy Note 3 will have a camera with optical stabilization and optical zoom. However, it is still too early to tell if these rumors are true. Currently speculation is leaning toward a 13 MP camera, unlike the Galaxy S4 Active which will have a 8MP and the Galaxy S4 Zoom which will have a 16MP.com.
The photo is pretty simple. It shows an office space at a location is Asia. In the picture, which can be seen here, are some tissues, a cord and a keyboard covered be plastic.
Among the other suspected specs are LTE capabilities, a 5.99-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, three gigabytes of RAM, and either a Quad-core Exynos 5420 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
It looks like the Note 3 could be another smartphone hit for Samsung. The South-Korean based company recently climbed to the top of the smartphone market.
Its top competitor Apple reported its slowest first quarter growth since 2010 this year. Due to the slow growth, it may even try to step into the phablet industry.
