New York Cab Driver Reportedly Dies After Being Stabbed In The Eye With An Umbrella; No Arrest Have Been Made (VIDEOS)

A cab driver was stabbed in the eye by one of his passengers with an umbrella and died according to Fox News.

The unidentified driver reportedly crashed into two vehicles in Brooklyn after the attack near a school yard where kids were present. He was was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he later died. There have been no reports of any one else being injured in the crash.

"I was cooking in the kitchen and I heard a loud bang, so I ran to my window," witness Lena Taylor told The New York Post. "I saw the cabdriver bleeding like crazy. His face was full of blood. I called 911 and they arrived fast and cut him out of the car. He already looked dead."

The New York Police Department are investigating the crime and it has been reported that they believe the cab driver was a victim of a robbery. Suspects are being described as a "black male and female in their mid 20s." A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information "leading to an arrest."

According to The Post, a surveillance camera from a nearby store showed the suspects walking out of the cab and away from the scene. It is unclear if a positive ID has been made on the suspects.

This is the second report of the death of a New York City cab driver. According to the Daily News, a cab driver suffered a heart attack while driving and crashed his vehicle. A 17-year-old mother and her 1-year-old daughter was walking nearby and were struck by the vehicle. Both survived the accident with minor injuries.
