The Buffalo Sabres, long viewed as one of the worst teams in the league, have managed victories in seven of their last 10 games. Their most recent victory, a 1-0 shutout win, came over reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Los Angeles Kings.

They're still in 28th and sporting a bad, if not out-and-out awful, 10-16-2 record.

Despite the recent uptick in play, Buffalo general manager Tim Murray is looking to sell off a number of his pieces. He's already been rumored to be fielding calls on Tyler Myers and actively shopping Chris Stewart, but now it sounds like the team's two netminders, Jhonas Enroth and Michal Neuvirth, are on the trade block as well.

"Now (Murray) is not going to deal both (Enroth and Neuvirth), but I'm told he's ready to deal one of them," TSN Insider Pierre LeBrun said during TSN's recent "Insider Trading" segment as transcribed by TheFourthPeriod.com. "They're both UFAs at the end of the year, he's not going to sign them both. I think he'd like to sign one, trade the other."

Enroth, who has been in the organization since 2006, is now sixth in even strength save percentage with an impressive .935% and an overall save percentage of .918%. Neuvirth has also been holding his own between the pipes this season with a .920% save percentage.

Enroth and Neuvirth's numbers are even more impressive considering Buffalo allows 36.1 shots per game - the worst mark in the league.

Enroth had been stuck behind Ryan Miller for years, but after Miller departed for the Vancouver Canucks, he was finally given his chance to take over the full-time job and has done spectacularly with it.

With each on the verge of unrestricted free agency, it's a smart move for Murray to see what he can get for one before signing the other.
