Jared Leto could very well be playing the Joker in DC's upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie. Rumors have swirled for months that the actor was cast as the villain the David Ayer's film but he refuses to confirm or deny the claims.

Last week, MTV asked Leto if he was playing the Joker and he responded with, "You know there is a film called 'Fight Club' my friend, and you know what the first rule is don't you?"

Everyone knows the first rule of fight cub is you don't talk about fight club. In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Leto was once again asked about the role. This time his answer is a bit more cryptic and could be interrupted in a number of ways.

"I've sworn to keep my mouth shut," Leto said.

It's previously been reported that filming for the movie is scheduled for April, so official casting announcements could happen at the beginning of next year. As far as casting rumors, Variety reported that Margot Robbie signed on as Harley Quinn, Will Smith will play Captain Boomerang, Tom Hardy will join as Rick Flag and Jai Courtney will be Deadshot. There's also rumors that Cara Delevingne will play a villain.

Jesse Eisenberg will most likely reprise his role as Lex Luthor from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"Suicide Squad" is expected to hit theaters Aug. 5, 2016.The movie is one of many to be released by Warner Bros. within the next six years. The full list is as follows:
