Fan-favorite "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Alfonso Ribeiro may be forced to quit the ABC show after suffering a major injury. According to TMZ, the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star injured his back during rehearsals on Wednesday night while practicing for the semi-finals with Witney Carson.

Earlier in the season, he injured his groin while doing "The Carlton Dance" and sources told TMZ that Ribeiro was trying to overcompensate for the injury when he threw his back out. Reportedly, the actor is having a difficult time walking and skipped rehearsals on Thursday so he could see a doctor.

According to TMZ, Ribeiro was told to take it easy for the next few days and he might not be able to perform on Monday night. Ribeiro and Carson have remained a top contender to win the Mirror Ball trophy and have consistently remained at the top of the leader board all season.

On Monday during the semi-finals, they are scheduled to compete against Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd, Bethany Mota and Derek Hough, Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas, and Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy.

Back in October, Ribeiro won the crowd over when he announced that his wife, Angela Unkrich, was pregnant with their second child. During the show, he said they were celebrating their son's first birthday by giving him a sibling.
