Marc Anthony will reportedly be heading down the aisle very soon for the third time. According to US Weekly, the "My Baby You" singer and ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, is set to marry on-again, off-again girlfriend Shannon De Lima.
A source told the magazine that Anthony, 46, proposed to the model back in March and the couple will exchange vows later this month in the Dominican Republic. Anthony and Lima first started dating in 2012, a year after he split from Lopez.
According to Fox News Latino, the ceremony will take place on Nov. 11 and Dominican singer Luis Guerra will sing at the wedding. On Tuesday, Lopez opened up about her failed marriage and co-parenting with Anthony to HuffPost Live. The two are parents to 6-year-old twins Max and Emme.
"Marc and I are very good friends, we've very supportive," she said. "I feel it's my responsibility as a mom when their dad is not there to let them know that their dad loves them very much because that's the doubt that they have when he's not around or they haven't seen him. That's my job to do that the same way it's his job when he's with them to say 'Mommy is working and she loves you.'"
The "I Luh Ya Papi" singer also dished on the relationship in her memoir, True Love, and revealed that her kids helped her to finally decide to end her seven-year marriage.
"We sat down together. 'This is not working. You know it's not working. We're not living like a family, and I don't see how things are going to change. Neither of us is happy, and the kids are wondering what's going on. I think we should move on with our lives.' Deep down, I still wanted him to fight for our family. But instead, he said, 'Okay.' On July 15, 2011, we made the public announcement that we were going to divorce. Hardest. Day. Ever," she wrote.
