How many times have you sneezed in your life? Since 2007, Peter Fletcher has sneezed over 4,000 times. A BBC article features a video interview of Fletcher describing his "waste of time" hobby that has actually caused Fletcher to take snapshots, written record, of his everyday life.
One of Fletcher's favorite sneezes may be number 42, he said. He had a strong sneeze that he avoided getting on a quiche. In the video, Fletcher said this was when he started to write down what he was doing "regardless of how insignificant it is. That's really the point of the exercise."
Fletcher commented that he has never sneezed while on the toilet. He sometimes suppresses sneezes that come at inconvenient times.
"The end point of this can really only be the ultimate end point of when I stop sneezing entirely: when I die. And to stop doing it before then, would feel slightly wrong, so I think I'm probably stuck in this now."
