Columbine Shooter Dylan Klebold's Mother Gets Book Deal

The mother of Columbine High School shooter Dylan Klebold is penning a memoir in which she will tell her story about the "indescribable grief and shame" she has lived with since the 1999 tragedy, The New York Daily News reported on Tuesday.

Crown Publishers told The Associated Press that it had a book by Susan Klebold in its possession, saying she wanted to open up about her story after the murders took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., and other schools. The book isn't titled yet, nor does it have a release date. Klebold says she will donate any author profits to mental health research and charitable organizations.

Dylan Klebold, along with fellow student and friend Eric Harris, killed 13 at the Colorado school before turning their weapons on themselves. Susan Klebold has previously spoken about her feelings in an essay for Oprah Winfrey's "O'' magazine and in interviews for Andrew Solomon's book "Far from the Tree," according to Fox 31 Denver.
