To satisfy consumers' ever-growing pizza favorites, Los Angeles-based startup Stoned Oven Gourmet Pizzas is making slices infused with marijuana. You can get a pizza topped with cheese, pepperoni, vegetables while having some pot baked right in, LA Times reported on Thursday.

Each six-inch pizza contains 250 mg of ethanol-extracted tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC concentrate, which is the chemical component that creates the high.

The eatery says its products are available at medical marijuana dispensaries in Hollywood, the San Fernando Valley, Upland and Westwood. You can view a full list of dispensaries on the Stoned Oven Gourmet Pizza website. Each pizza runs for about $10 and is available for delivery.

Also in California, another company is jumping on the pizza - pot combination bandwagon. Podey Pizza has started selling jars of pizza sauce with pot in it at marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington State and Colorado, according to The Huffington Post.

Podey Pizza's 5-ounce jars of sauce cost $20 and contain 300mg of medical cannabis per jar, enough for one large pizza or two smaller ones, according to Steve Thomas, Podey Pizza's vice president of operations.

Thomas believes his pot-laced pizza sauce is a good option for medical marijuana consumers who don't have a sweet tooth and are looking for an alternative.
