Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Keyshia Cole was arrested on suspicion of battery after getting into an alleged altercation on Friday, TMZ reported.

The 32-year-old singer was taken into custody shortly after 5 a.m. and booked for misdemeanor battery at the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys Station following her involvement in a physical altercation with another woman.

Cole reportedly went to visit her rumored boyfriend 45-year-old producer and rapper Birdman - who is known as the founder and CEO of Cash Money Records and is responsible for launching Drake's and Nicki Minaj's career.

However, the singer reportedly became angry after finding another woman in his West Los Angeles condo. TMZ reported that the "Heaven Sent" singer attacked the woman, leaving visible scratch marks on her face.

She was arrested for battery and an outstanding reckless driving warrant. Cole was released from custody at12: 25 p.m. after posting bail for $46,000 in the afternoon on the same day - $26,000 for one count and $20,000 for another, according to public records.

Following her arrest, Cole posted some cryptic messages on Instagram.

She posted a picture of herself and her dog with the caption, "Me and my LolaMae!! She knows my [heart]." She followed the post with writing, ", "Ni**az be like 'WTF I gotta lie for' and still be lying," along with an array of crying emojis and caption "Silly rabbit."

Cole later posted and deleted, a message, which read, "My real and your real ain't the same. That's why we don't click," along with the caption, "Fake. Just a fake."
