Lady Gaga giving the camera the middle finger in a photograph, is good news. The reason? It's taken in a recording studio, with Gaga posing provocatively with Dallas Austin, producer and songwriter.
The picture is being interpreted as Gaga putting the finishing touches on her third studio album "Artpop".
The "Born This Way" singer was out of the public eye for a while, after suffering an injury to her right hip in February which required surgery and caused her to cancel the remainder of her tour to recuperate. She was back on her feet earlier this month and joined her friend and jazz trumpeter Brian Newman for an impromptu performance of "Someone to Watch Over Me" in New York City. "Thanks to the 1&only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight an singing a song!!" tweeted Newman on May 9.
Gaga has also been spotted in a trailer for the new film "Machete Kills". She plays a character called La Chameleon. In the trailer, the singer (who has often sported bizarre fashion) is seen skimpily dressed under a fur stole, and wielding a gun. Starring Danny Trejo, the film also features Charlie Sheen, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez.
Gaga was recently targeted by Kelly Osbourne, who has been publicly feuding with her for a while. "I loved Lady Gaga. I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realized she's a great big hypocrite. Don't say, 'When you see bullying, intervene,' while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it. You can say whatever you want with your millions of monsters. I know the truth. You bells and whistles mean nothing to me. You're feeding on the freaks and geeks to further your career? Do you really care about the gay community? Because if you did, you'd stand up for it more than you do," said Osbourne in an interview with Cosmopolitan. Gaga, who had replied to Osbourne's earlier tirade in January through an open letter on her blog, has not responded to this new salvo yet.
