"American Horror Story: Freak Show" isn't for the faint of heart... and people afraid of clowns. FX released more teaser trailers for the upcoming fourth season and they are creepy, spooky, and will probably keep you up at night.

In one of the trailers fans are introduced to Twisty the Clown Killer, rumored to be played by John Carroll Lynch. Other "Freak Show" acts include a three-legged contortionist, a man with a split tongue, a sword swallower and a scary jester. Check out the latest teaser trailers below.

Emma Roberts, who plays Maggie on "Freak Show," recently dished about the upcoming season and admitted that the script gave her nightmares.

"I have to say, 'Freak Show' is really scarier... I read the script and I was having nightmares," she said, according to E! News.

Creator Ryan Murphy has already warned that this season will be scariest one yet and promises that it will be darker than "Coven." During a Comic-Con panel in July, Kathy Bates (Ethel Darling) said that she had trouble sleeping after filming her first scene.

"After my first scene one week, I got home and couldn't go to sleep, and then I slept for 30 hours - and that was without drugs! I swear to God, I think he scars the shit out of me!" she said, Deadline reports.

Season 4 will be set in the mid-1950s and centers around the last remaining freak show in America. An official description reads: "The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

John Carroll Lynch: main villain (rumored to beTwisty the Clown)
Gabourey Sidibe: name not revealed but will play a well-off, tailored graduate of the Barbizon school who returns to Jupiter, Fla. to tend to a family matter
Patti LaBelle: name not revealed but will play the mother to Sidibe's character. Described as a nosey mother who figures out Twisty the Clown's killer secret.
