Farrah Abraham to Host the EOTM Awards, Nominated For Outstanding Reality Star

Former "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham seems to be having a busy year. She sold her sex tape, "Farrah Abraham: Backdoor Teen Mom" for close to a million dollars, signed a contract with Raspberry Tones and announced she will be getting another reality show. Now Abraham has landed her first hosting gig for the EOTM Awards. To top it off she has also been nominated for Outstanding Reality Star and Best Author, Wetpaint reports.

The Entrepreneurs on the Move (EOTM) Awards celebrates entrepreneurial achievements and performances in business, philanthropy and the arts (recordings, television, radio, literature, film, directing and writing).

Carla Barnes, the editor and president of EOTM Media told Wetpaint they chose Abraham because they feel she has achieved a lot for only being 21-years-old.

"Farrah is only 21 and has completed a dual degree in culinary management and arts, helped her family turn their recipe into a mega business with the launching of an Italian Hot Pepper sauce called MOM&ME," Barnes said. "She is unbelievably talented, knows how to roll with the punches and epitomizes what it takes to be a great entrepreneur; she's a maverick, a risk taker and we couldn't be happier with the creative team we've assembled."

Abraham announced the news on Twitter and also told the website how excited she was to host the award show.

"I'm very excited to host the Entrepreneur on the Move Awards on August 4th, Abraham said to Wetpaint. "For one I'm a true Entrepreneur at heart and I am an advocate for believing in the potential of other entrepreneurs. I feel being an entrepreneur is one of the most difficult career paths to take, so daring, and all entrepreneurs who are attending deserve this time to celebrate and be rewarded for their hard work."

Abraham is not the only "Teen Mom" star getting recognition at the event. Maci Bookout was also nominated for Outstanding Reality Star. Other nominees include Columbus Short for Outstanding Actor in TV series for "Scandal," Letoya Luckett for Outstanding Lead Actress for an Indie film in "Note to Self," Faith Evans for Best R&B Album, Big Time Rush for Best Pop Duo or Group, Maya Angelou for Outstanding Literary Work for an Autiobiography, Gabrielle Douglas for Athlete of the Year and Nicki Glasser for Outstanding Stand-Up comedian. Steve Harvey will get the Lifetime Achievement Award.
