World's Most Pierced Man Claims He Was Kicked Out Of Dubai 'Because Of The Way I Looked'

The "world's most pierced man" claims he was denied entrance into the United Arab Emirates over his appearance and suspicions he was involved in dark magic, The National reported.

Rolf Buchholz, who has 453 piercings on his body, said he got through the passport checkpoint when he arrived at Dubai International Airport for a scheduled Friday appearance at a nightclub. But he was stopped before he reached customs and was shipped on a flight to Germany without an official explanation, he told the newspaper.

"Those who escorted me back to the airplane said that it was because of the way I looked and that it was because I am [suspected of] black magic," Buchholz, from Germany, told The National.

Buchholz, who also has horn implants in his head and magnets in his fingertips, has held the Guinness world record as most pierced man since 2012.

The 53-year-old computer expert was traveling to Dubai for an appearance at the Cirque le Soir nightclub at the Fairmont Hotel. The club said on Sunday it tried to get Buchholz back into the country but was unsuccessful, the BBC reported.

Buchholz said he didn't even retrieve his luggage when he was swiftly escorted from the airport to the plane.

"There were police at the plane, and I was not allowed to stop long enough so that people can see me," Buchholz told The National. "They told me that I should keep moving so that no one spots me."

As it turns out, Buchholz's luggage was misplaced and never made it to Dubai when he landed. Buchholz received a call when his luggage arrived in Dubai and asked for it to be shipped to Germany. He is still waiting for it.

Dubai airport officials have not commented on the alleged incident.

Buchholz, who has an appearance in Norway at the end of August, said he would return to Dubai only if he is guaranteed entrance.

"I think if people were a little more tolerant, then the world would be a better place," the told The National.
