Blake Shelton is proving to people everywhere that his marriage to Miranda Lambert is stronger than ever.
According to People, the country singer, addressed rumors that his marriage is falling apart. "If you're in the public eye, people are going to take shots at you," said "The Voice" coach. He openly admitted to his wife that he has "nothing to hide from you. Here's my phone. Go through it. That's really the kind of trust we have. There are no secrets."
Shelton, 36, said he tells his wife to go dig through his drawers and computer if she feels to and "that's been a really good thing, because I don't want her to ever have any doubts."
Shelton said he's been thinking about a family.
"Learning to not be selfish is what has changed in me the most since being married," Shelton said. "I'm thinking on behalf of someone else [now]. Just like I hope she's doing with me."
With many reports indicating that the 29-year old country singer and her husband are expecting a child, Lambert's mother Beverly Lambert addressed the rumors.
"They are totally not expecting!" Beverly said according to Radar Online.
She said she's "fairly certain that I would be the first person to know."
Both country stars are set to appear on NBC for a benefit concert for those people who were affected by the tornado's that were struck Oklahoma. Shelton will be hosting he event and Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Luke Bryan will be performing at the event. The special airs tonight at 9 p.m.
