Jason Momoa took to his Instagram to explain how he feels about his rumored casting as Aquaman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

The “Game of Thrones” actor’s casting in the film has not been confirmed, but many reporters ask Momoa about his rumored role. Momoa is currently promoting his new film “Road to Paloma,” and isn’t talking about possible connection to the DC film.

However, the actor took the time to share the above image of Batman slapping Robin for asking him about Aquaman. Momoa publicly denied the Aquaman rumors while attending a "Game of Thrones" panel at Detroit's Motor City Comic Con in May.

"What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It's so annoying. Sorry, you're not annoying," Momoa told the panel crowd when asked about the “Batman vs Superman” production. "Oh you're the press? Get the f*** out of here. Here, put this in there - you're a d***, you're a d***. [Allowing the audience to laugh] You're not a d***, I'm just playing. You know what, I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?'

"And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together. Then people were like, 'He's in Batman vs. Superman!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some a**hole was like 'He's Aquaman! And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f*** do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously... And then it shows up on the Internet. Not that it's a bad rumour."

However, multiple sources have confirmed Momoa is a part of the production and may be staring in his own solo film. Director Zack Snyder also recently called a local Detroit radio station to defend Aquaman after two show hosts were making fun of the DC character.

"I don't want to give anything away about the movie, but Aquaman has some cool abilities," Snyder said during his radio call. "People are like: ‘Oh, what? Does he talk to animals? Cause that seems like what he does. Or fish?' The cool thing with Aquaman is he's Triton, so you have to realize that [he] could cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact."
