Vin Diesel Talks About Paul Walker's Death: Calls it His "Darkest Moments"

In a recent interview Vin Diesel said that the passing away of his co-star and dear friend Paul Walker was the darkest moment in his life.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker were the awesome two that were responsible for the success of the movie series "Fast and Furious." The untimely death of Walker sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood. Even today, there are people still mourning his passing. One such person who still hasn't recovered totally from the loss is Diesel. He recently opened up about Walker's death during his interview with "Live with Kelly and Michael".

"It's a heavy thing, Michael. You know? I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different," MTV quoted him as saying. "It was someone that we - we grew up in the business together, and we became famous together, and we represented the biggest franchise together. He was my partner, and it's a strange thing to."

Walker's character, Brian O'Connor, is to be written out of the series, but not actually killed off. He had already completed filming some of his scenes, so his brothers are set to help complete his parts of the film.

"I've been acting all my life and they don't teach you in acting, how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they're in a scene with you," Diesel continued. "It's one of the darker moments in this, in my journey. Yeah. Yeah guys, you know it's a rough one. You all had people you love that passed away."

This is not the first time Diesel has gotten teary-eyed over Walker's death. During the recent MTV Movie Awards, the deceased actor was remembered fondly after he was announced the recipient of the Best On-Screen Duo award with Diesel. Diesel was not present in person to accept the award but did send out a video recording where he honored Walker. He later shared his acceptance on Facebook.

"Back in 2002, it was you, the MTV audience, that first acknowledged this brotherhood between Paul Walker and myself by honoring us with the best team on film," Diesel says in the video. "So it's surreal to be standing here 12 years later and that you have been so generous to give us this award again."

The otherwise macho actor got teary eyed in the middle of his speech and took a minute to remember his co-star

"I know he's here in spirit," Diesel continued. "Thank you for honoring me and, more importantly, thank you for honoring that angel - my brother Paul Walker."

The movie is slated to be out on theatres sometime April of 2015.
