"Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara might be hooking up with "True Blood" actor Joe Manganiello.
US Weekly reports an insider close to the couple claimed the pair met during the White House Correspondents Dinner in May. However, Manganiello allegedly has had his eyes on the Latina for quite some time.
"Sofia is Joe's dream girl!" one insider told US Weekly. "He's been smitten with her for years. He's always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far."
"Sofia had no idea that he had been crushing on her for a while," a second source added.
The couple was recently spotted at the Louisiana city's Li'l Dizzy's Café, according to the celebrity magazine. Eyewitnesses told US Weekly the couple kisses and cuddled together during their date.
"They were very friendly and took pictures with other diners," an alleged eyewitness told US Weekly, adding the couple shared a table with patrons because the restaurant was crowded.
Vergara recently ended her engagement to businessman Nick Loeb back in May, according to Hollywood Life. The actress released a brief statement regarding the break up on her WhoSay account on May 23:
"Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart," the "Modern Family" actress wrote. "We have been having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore. We are still very close but we believe is the best thing for us right now."
